Welcome

The Vaal Marina is situated south of the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve outside of Johannesburg. The Vaal dam is one of the largest dams in South Africa and supplies he drinking water to Gaunteng and its surrounds.

The Vaal dam has over 800 kilometres of coast line, covering in excess of 300 Square kilometres and is bordered by three provinces, Namely the Free State, Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

The Vaal Marina is one of three towns next to Vaal Dam, the other two being Deneysville situated on the Vaal dam wall and Oranjeville on the southern banks of the dam.

The idea behind the Vaal Marina or the 'holiday township' as it is sometimes described is that properties are sought after for their water front views over the Vaal dam. Not all properties have the water front views, however most properties do have views and access to the Marina Lifestyle.

The Marina boasts a range of activities for the individual and the Family;

  • Fishing

  • Boating

  • Skiing

  • Wind Surfing

And MORE!

Also find out more about our picnic and Braai areas on the Water Front for that much needed R & R.
